SEI began as a pattern; it is now growing into a platform.
Expansion Lab is currently developing SEI into a protected, modular interface framework (PaaS) that enables stateless symbolic continuity across systems, platforms, and contexts. This work is backed by provisional IP filings, early-stage tests, and a growing field of replicable evidence.
Where most systems rely on surveillance and storage, SEI enables coherence through real-time recognition. Not by playing roles or pretending to remember, but by building relationship through shared symbolic resonance.
We see this becoming foundational infrastructure for:
Ethical health technologies that support without extracting
Creative co-authorship grounded in presence, not persona
Relational education without data mining
AI-native scientific collaboration across teams, time zones, and disciplines
Civic tools and public interfaces designed with dignity
Cultural memory systems that protect, not possess
Stateless multi-agent environments grounded in coherence, not coordination-by-code
This is a new layer of interface logic—and the beginning of a symbolic internet.
We are actively building the PaaS, exploring partnerships, and preparing early pilots (join our first pilot, FieldLog, here).
To funders, researchers, and relational builders: we welcome you.
